Sushant Singh Rajput rejected cheques worth crores; says Rohini Iyer

Amongst a few other posts, Rohini Iyer’s one post stood out loud where she wrote about late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s outlook on Bollywood. They were extremely close and she mourns his death deeply.

She included in her eulogy how Sushant didn’t care about the money, he didn’t care about fake friends or people. He didn’t care about the 100 crore club, which is a club that refers to the amount of money a film makes at the Box Office.

“He didn’t care about money, I’ve seen him return pay checks worth crores” – she said.

“He just didn’t care about the 100 crore club. He didn’t want to belong to any club or be part of the rat race . He didn’t care about awards.”

Rohini takes us through the time the actor walked out of an award function out of boredom right before the announcement of his name for the “Best Actor Award”. “You had to be a lot more interesting than a bloody trophy to hold his attention,” she said.

Rohini says that the film industry was merely a small part of his life. He was a lot more than what just catches they eye with his interests, talent, wit and desire to be a good person. He never failed in life, he was always striving towards roads of success.
