Bollywood’s reaction on the ban of Tik Tok

The ban on Chinese apps in India has invited mixed opinions from the Indians. However, out of all the other Chinese apps, the ban of Tik Tok is the most talked about. Many celebrities are sharing their views on this decision and are celebrating the government to do so.

Amongst a mix of opinions, the Bollywood celebrity has shown their relief that came along with the ban on Tik Tok. Farah Khan says that “If we are to compete with the world’s largest manufacturer, we better be well equipped to do so before we decide to ban everything Chinese bec the fact is that something in everything is made in China. Action without thought will lead to more problems. We need Brains not Emotions”

Along with Farah Khan, Malaika Arora shared a story on Instagram with the flashing news of Tik Tok ban and captioned it as “Best news I have heard in lockdown…finally we will not be subjected to people’s ridiculous videos.”

Another reaction that gathered attention was from Richa Chadha, stating that “We can always uninstall apps… shom shom shamo shasha #definitiveaction ?”

The celebrities from the television industry also shared their opinion on this brave decision made by the government.

Nia Sharma wrote on Twitter, “Thank youu for saving our country. This Virus named Tik Tok should never be allowed again!”

Kushal Tandon also wrote on his Instagram stories, “Finally some good news.”

Music Composer, Vishal Dadlani’s tweet is the most relatable one as he writes “Banning Apps is to China, what Taali/Diyas was to Coronavirus.”

The Tik Tok app is owned by China’s Bytedance and had a large fanbase from India.
