Jacqueline Fernandez opens up about Dealing With ‘Major Anxiety’ In The Last Few Weeks

The untimely death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput due to depression has made way for a heated discussion on mental health and it’s awareness in the Bollywood industry.

Opening up on this sensitive topic was considered a bit of a taboo earlier but now celebrities have started to speak up about their own battles with anxiety, depression, nepotism, and all the other toxicity prevalent in the industry.

The latest addition to the celebrities who have socially expressed their issues is the Sri Lankan beauty, Jacqueline Fernandez. The talented and gorgeous actress posted a video on her Instagram and shared how she has been facing anxiety since the past few weeks and how Yoga has helped her in dealing with it.


The video shows us how Jackie is performing several Yoga postures with so much finesse and grace. In her caption she wrote, ” I have been dealing with some major anxiety these past few weeks.. however being consistent with yoga has taught me the valuable lesson of being in the moment and what’s even more important.. gratitude.. for life and being alive.. have a great day everyone! Namaste.”

Mourning the untimely demise of her co-star, Sushant Singh Rajput the actress had also penned a heartfelt tribute on her social media.

Sharing the trailer of Sushant’s last film Dil Bechara, Jacqueline wrote, “His going has left a void, everywhere and with everyone.. he taught me to ALWAYS be there for people, whenever I was down or confused, he never hesitated to help.. watching his film is not going to be easy for me but I know he’s going to light up the screen so beautifully and that will give me some peace… @castingchhabra I know how close you were to Sushant, pls stay strong @sanjanasanghi96 all the best for your debut, you had an amazing first co-star and I’m sure he would’ve been proud of the performance you’ve given.”
