Netflix is one of our favourite platforms to stream and the OTT has given us another reason why. Netfix is coming up with 17 new originals and each of them have sizzling story lines.
With 12 films and 5 new series on the line, we can’t wait to check out what’s in store for the audience. On Instagram, the OTT has also released a teaser mashup for fans to get a little sneak peek.

1. Mismatched
Mismatched is Netflix’s very own newborn, which is a young adult romance fiction starring Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf. It is based on Sandhya Menon’s book When Dimple Met Rishi.
2. A Suitable Boy
A Suitable Boy is another original web series that has stirred up quite the talk in town. Featuring Tabu and Ishaan Khatter in a forbidden romance because of their age difference, this series is an adaptation of Vikram Seth’s 1993 novel of the same name.
3. Masaba Masaba
Directed by Sonam Nair and produced by Ashvini Yardi’s Viniyard Films, Masaba Masaba is a series that depicts the life of Indian Fashion designer Masaba Gupta who has her own label, House of Masaba. The series is based on real-life facts, her choices between fashion and family and her diverse struggle. Masaba Gupta plays herself in the series.
4. Bombay Begums
The series Bombay Begums demonstrates the lives of 5 women, poles apart from each other, who deal with crisis their own way. As Netflix captions the five of them, “deal with desire, ethics, personal crises and vulnerabilities to own their ambition, in contemporary urban India – without letting their crowns slip.”
5. Bhaag Beanie Bhaag
The series tells us the story of Beanie, played by Swara Bhasker, who had different ambitions in life and so she decides to run away from luxury to pursue a career in stand-up. Dolly Singh, Varun Thakur, Mona Ambegaonkar, and Girish Kulkarni have also been cast in the series.
