Siddharth Pithani says Sushant had confronted Rhea on expenses she made from his account out of concern

Another thing to note in the current Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is the alleged extravagant expenses that Rhea Chakraborty had made from the late actor’s bank account. Now Sushant’s friend Siddharth Pithani says Sushant had apparently confronted Rhea about her spendings.

Sushant’s former assistant Ankit Acharya revealed in an interview with Times Now that Sushant reportedly had 30 crores in his bank account last year in the month of January. Rajput’s family has accused Rhea of using up at least 15 crores from his account.

A report by Hindustan Times states that Siddharth Pithani says Sushant opened up to him saying his expenses were getting out of hand and that he did not want to involve his family in the matter. “Mere expenses zyaada ho rahe hain. I want to cut down all the expenses,” is what Sushant apparently told Siddharth. The money matter was also spoken about amidst Sushant’s staff members who said, “In conversation, they used to tell me that sir is worried about expenses and that Rhea is buying stuff with his cards, but we don’t know how to tell him, and we are very sure he is worried about it.”

Pithani mentions that Sushant then confronted Rhea on the same issue after which the late actor told Siddharth, “You don’t have to worry about anything. You don’t have to get involved in this matter. This is Rhea you’re talking about. She’s a part of the house. You don’t interfere.”

Former assistant Ankit Acharya also spoke about how Rhea was handling everything and was also performing a ‘puja’ but she did not make use of any idols for the worship and that the puja rituals weren’t the usual ones. He said, “I used to be in touch with my friends. I tried to contact Sir, but the phone was always switched off. I told them (office boys) to take care of my ex-boss, but they used to say that Rhea is taking care of all the things and also performing ‘puja’
