5 Times Badshah Made Us Believe In The Power Of Dreams

Bad Boy Badshah, who is one the finest rappers our industry, is soon to come out with his second album titled ‘The Power of Dreams of a Kid’.

Here are the 5 times when Badshah made us believe in the power of dreams which inspired us.

1. When Badshah was in control of his destiny

Badshah, in conversation with Film Companion, spoke about his first album O.N.E. and how he felt empowered as he was in control of things.

“It’s my first album, it’s the first chapter and it’s my state of mind. I am at the top in my mind, that’s how I feel. I am in control of things and I am putting an album out.”

2. When he was inspired by the Badshah himself

Badshah in an interview with Kapil Sharma on the latter’s show, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, disclosed the secret behind his stage name. The rapper’s real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia.

“My stage name ‘Badshah’ is inspired by Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Badshah. When the movie released in 1999 it was a big hit. All of my friends were in love with that movie. That was the time when I started writing a lot of songs and singing them in public, my friends started calling me Badshah. That’s how my stage name Badshah became a thing.”

3. When his struggle wasn’t struggle but was a fun journey

In an interview for Pinkvilla, Badshah was asked, “When you were struggling, how difficult was it for you?” to which he had the most perfect response.

I think it’ll be unfair to call it a struggle because a struggle is when you don’t enjoy it (what you’re doing). I was enjoying every part of the journey. whether it was sleeping on the floor or whether it was travelling without money.”

4. When he made sure he finished his education and fulfilled his dreams

Talking to RJ Malishka Badshah says, “I am an engineer. In contradiction to popular belief that I am a drop-out, I have completed my studies. I am one of those who have finished it all. I got my degree and I did jobs too. After that, I left my job but when I was working, I worked and did my music side by side until I knew that I’d earn with music and be self-sustained.

5. When he proved his dad with a rap that he made it big

Badshah sure is a force to reckon with and this last point proves it all. He wrote this rap for his dad as Badshah had disclosed multiple times in earlier interviews that his dad was not very happy with his son’s choice of career.

“Papa… dekho maine kar ke dikha diya
Aap rok dete mujhe rap karne se
Maine puri duniya ko sikha diya
Jo likhta tha kabhi copy ke piche chup chup ke
Wo puri duniya ko padha diya
Duniya dekhe jo maine karke dikha dia
Shabdo ko joda maine paisa bana diya”
