Rhea Chakraborty Did Not Name Any Bollywood Actors – Says Her Lawyer; Clarifies About CBD Oil

Earlier, it was reported by Times Now that Rhea Chakraborty had named Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and designer Simone Khambhatta during her NCB interrogation.

However, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has stated that Rhea “did not name any Bollywood actors” during her interrogation with the CBI, NCB and the ED.

“Rhea Chakraborty has not named anybody in her statement. If NCB or anybody is making a statement that she has leaked, it’s totally false.” – says her lawyer

His statement came after the NCB issued summons to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh yesterday.

Talking to CNNNews18, Maneshinde said -“Rhea Chakraborty has not named anybody in her statement. If NCB or anybody is making a statement that she has leaked, it’s totally false. There is no thread of evidence that suggests that Rhea Chakraborty has named anybody apart from what Sushant Singh Rajput had consumed all his life when she was with him.”

“What Jaya Saha did with Sushant and Rhea was only prescribe or send CBD oil, which is an extract of ganja leaves, which is not a narcotic substance.” – says Maneshinde

When probed about Jaya Saha’s role and how her interrogation led to big names like Deepika Padukone, Sharddha Kapoor, Madhu Mantena flashing in news, Maneshinde said, “What Jaya has done is to her knowledge.”

Maneshinde also clarified about Jaya Saha and the CBD Oil.

“What Jaya Saha for with Sushant and Rhea was only prescribe or send CBD oil which is an extract of ganja leaves, which is not a narcotic substance. You can see on the bottle of CBD that it does not contain any narcotic substance.”

Being in the household of SSR cannot be termed as a syndicate. She has not dealt with anybody in her life.” – says Maneshinde

He also denied all claims of Rhea being part of a drug syndicate“Being in the household of Sushant Singh Rajput cannot be termed as a syndicate. She has not dealt with anybody in her life and there is no allegation that she dealt with anybody else.

The lawyer also added that the 3 central agencies probing the case, “have gone on a witch hunt” and have “found nothing” . He also claimed, “to divert the attention of the nation, the NCB is going after these film actresses and Bollywood people because it will get the most publicity.”

Adding that NCB was set up to investigate serious cases, Maneshinde also said that they should go to the international borders and catch the people smuggling narcotics substances from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Burma, Nepal and other such places.
