Ileana D’Cruz and Randeep Hooda will be seen together in ‘Unfair and Lovely‘ directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua.
The shooting of the film will begin in November and it is scheduled to release in 2021.
The film talks about fairness and discrimination based on color. Looking at the films that Randeep Hooda has done in the past it is safe to say that ‘Unfair and Lovely’ will be breaking some Bollywood stereotypes.
Randeep Hooda announced the film on social media and wrote “Har koi fair, lovely nahi hota, aur har koi lovely, fair nahi hota. Nahi samjhe? Sab samajh jaoge in my next #UnfairNLovely. Really excited to be shooting this one with the beautiful @ileana_official and my superb director @balwindersinghjanjua (sic).”
Ileana opened up about being a part of the film as this is her second project with Balwinder Singh Janjua and said “Kabhi socha hai ki hero ko hamesha heroine ke gore gore gaal hi kyun beautiful lagte hain? Well, yeh soch hui purani, it’s time to be #UnfairNLovely. Super thrilled to reunite with @balwindersinghjanjua after #Mubarakan and work with the awesome @RandeepHooda (sic).“
Director Balwinder Singh Janjua wrote, “Jab lovely person ka ho intezaar, toh sirf love dekho, fairness par dhyaan dena lagega bekaar! Proud to present @Ileana_Official and @RandeepHooda in my directorial debut #UnfairNLovely (sic).”
