SSR-Disha Salian Case: Mumbai Police Arrest Delhi Based Lawyer Vibhor Anand For Spreading Fake Theories

SSR and his ex-manager Disha Salian had died within a week of each other, giving rise to speculations that their deaths were linked.

Mumbai Police has now arrested Delhi-based lawyer Vibhor Anand for allegedly spreading fake conspiracy theories in connection with SSR-Disha cases.

As per Mumbai Mirror report, an FIR was registered in August after Anand allegedly posted 3 videos on YouTube making defamatory statements and allegations against Maharashtra cabinet minister Aaditya Thackeray and State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.

It was also alleged that in the video, he spread fake conspiracy theories on Sushant and Disha’s deaths, linking it to AadityaThackeray.

NDTV report also says that Anand had made several sensational and defamatory allegations on social media, and even his Twitter account was suspended for violating the platform’s guidelines. He had claimed on Twitter that Ms Salian had been raped before her death and named several prominent personalities..

The Delhi-based lawyer has been booked for defamation along with other charges under the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.

“He was picked up from his residence in Delhi on Thursday and was brought to the city. He was produced in Court and has been sent to Police Custody till October 19,” said a police officer.

Arbaaz Khan had also filed a defamtion suit against Vibhor!

Back in September, Arbaaz Khan had also filed a defamation suit against this Vibhor Anand, and others unknown for defamatory allegations in posts and videos, which claimed his involvement in the deaths of Sushant and Disha.

The court had directed Vibhor and others to withdraw and take down defamatory content published directly or indirectly by any of them!
