The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor’s 1st thriller is reportedly going to be a remake of a South Korean film.
As per Pinkvilla report, the movie is going to be a remake of the 2013 Korean thriller action film – The Terror Alive.
The plot revolves around a former television news anchor who unwittingly takes a call from a terrorist on his live radio show. When the terrorist’s threat proves to be real, the host decides to use this incident to get back in the spotlight. Kartik will be essaying the role of the newsman.
A trade source revealed to Pinkvilla, “It’s a remake of the film The Terror Live. Kartik Aaryan will play the main lead, and step into the role of a newsman who’s running against time to save the city. In the original film, the main protagonist discovers he’s been rigged with a bomb after he has an exclusive interview with a terrorist who blew up a bridge. It’s an edge-of-the-seat thriller and Ram Madhvani will be leading from the front.”
Reportedly, the yet-to-be-titled film will go on floors in December this year and will release in 2021.
