Apna Asli Action Hero, Akshay Kumar, reportedly has narrowly survived a brush with some risky accident recently. But hey, ‘Risk hai toh ishq hai’ amirite?
As per a Peeping Moon report, the Superstar Khiladi was shooting for his period action flick ‘Prithviraj’ which is reportedly in the last leg of its filming schedule.
While shooting for a ‘war sequence’, Akshay lost his balance and fell from his horse quite heavily. To make things worse, the horse panicked and trampled all over him.

The accident brought the film’s shooting to a halt and could’ve been fatal. However, it looks like Akshay Kumar is made of sterner stuff; the actor got away with a few bruises and some back pain.
In fact, Akshay was so determined to see through the shoot, that he reportedly got right back up and nailed the shot. Truly a tough cookie, this one!
This period drama will feature Akshay in the titular role of King Prithviraj Chauhan of Chahamana, while Miss India 2017 Manushi Chhillar will be making her Bollywood debut as Princess Sanyogita. Sanjay Dutt also has a pivotal role in the movie.
Peeping Moon report further says that Akshay will be wrapping up Prithviraj by this weekend before Diwali, and then leave for a month-long holiday with his family to Scotland soon. Post returning, he’ll take up Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’, co-starring Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.
