Watch Netflix’s ‘Torbaaz’ Trailer: Sanjay Dutt Turns A Determined Cricket Coach For The Refugee Kids!

Sanjay Dutt plays an army officer in his upcoming Netflix movie ‘Torbaaz’

Sanjay Dutt will next be seen in an action thriller movie on Netflix titled ‘Torbaaz’, co-starring Rahul Dev, Nargis Fakhri, and Gavie Chahal. Sanjay Dutt will be playing the role of an army officer named Naseer Khan.

This Girish Malik directorial movie revolves around an army officer who rises above his personal tragedy and determines to coach refugee camp kids in cricket, who are otherwise destined to become suicide bombers. Check it out:

Set in the backdrop of Afghanistan, the movie is all set to stream on Netflix from 11th December, 2020.

Sharing the trailer of ‘Torbaaz’, the ‘Munna Bhai’ actor expressed his excitement and wrote, “It’s when good people do nothing that the bad guys win! #Torbaaz, premiering 11 December, only on @NetflixIndia.”

As reported by The Indian EXPRESS, the actor stated, “The story of Torbaaz is closely aligned with the reality of Afghanistan, and the beautiful depiction of cricket as a means of deliverance is as true for the children as it is for my character, Nasser Khan, who bounces back from personal tragedy.

He further added, “I am truly grateful for all the love and support that I have received over the past few months, and I am glad to be returning to the screen with this powerful film.”

‘Torbaaz’ is the first movie of Sanjay to release post his cancer recovery.

Dutt’s last release ‘Sadak 2’ which received massive criticism also had a digital release, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
