John Abraham’s ‘Ray’ To Go On Floors Mid-Year Next?

After working together for Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, Rohan Shankar and Abhishek Sharma come together for John Abraham‘s ‘Ray‘.

Abhishek has directed John earlier for Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran and will direct him again in ‘Ray‘. Rohan Shankar has written the dialogues for this movie.

The writer, Rohan Shankar says, “At this moment, I am not sure if Ray is the title finalized for the film. We are all waiting for John to decide on his dates. Had the pandemic not put a halt to all the on-going work, Ray would have taken off by now. The shutdown has pushed around a lot of dates for pending projects. So, John will only take a call when his pending films are complete.”

From where I see it coming, the film could go on floors by mid next year or towards the end of 2021. I just know that John is very excited and he is producing the film. Ray revolves around a lot of novel things woven together with an interesting love story. I don’t think anyone has explored what Abhishek is exploring with it,” he continued.

Director Abhishek says “It’s something John had really liked. He has to figure out his dates for the film. I am looking forward to collaborating with him on this one. He’s someone who weighs a film for what it is. He does not judge a director on the basis of a hit or a flop. He makes his own assessment and plays by what he thinks is right.”
