It was earlier reported that Big B will play the family patriarch in filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming big fat family drama.
Now, Bollywood Hungama has revealed that this movie supposedly narrates the heartfelt tale of friendship with Amitabh Bachchan and Boman Irani in the lead. Big B & Boman Irani will supposedly play best friends in this movie.
“It’s a simple story of friendship with the right dose of emotions and slice of life elements. While the emotional crux will be as strong as any other Sooraj Barjatya film, the story is unlike anything he has made in the past. After exploring the simplicity and complexities of families, he is now bringing a heartfelt tale of a bond between two friends in their older days,” a source revealed to Pinkvilla.
The source further revealed that the screenplay will apparently take inspiration from Sooraj’s real life and the bond with his friends.
This yet-to-be-titled movie is scheduled to go on floors in February. This movie would mark Big B’s first collaboration with Sooraj Barjatya.
