1. Sushant Singh Rajput

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was a pupil at Shamak Davar’s Dance Academy and was one of the background dancers in the title track of ‘Dhoom 2’.

2. Deepika Padukone

B-Town favourite DP started her journey in the industry as a model and has also been a part of a few video albums. However, she had even appeared as a background dancer in a few movies.

3. Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh’s journey to stardom was a hard one but the phenomenal actor’s hard work paid off. He was first seen dancing in ‘It’s Magic’ song from Koi Mil Gaya and ‘Bole Chudiyan’ from ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam’.

4. Shahid Kapoor

Famous choreographer turned director, Farah Khan, was a backdrop dancer in the film Sadaa Suhagan back in 1986. The song was Govinda’s Hum Hain Naujawan.

8. Dia Mirza

Dia Mirza – Former Miss Asia Pacific turned Bollywood actress, Dia Mirza started her career dancing the backdrop in south Indian films. She was seen in the song, En Swasa Kaatre.

9. Kajal Aggarwal

Before her debut in Singham, Kajal Aggarwal danced beside Aishwarya Rai in the movie Kyon Ho Gaya in a song called Uljhane.

10. Arshad Warsi

Arshad Warsi worked as a choreographer in the industry initially. However, he also performed as a background dancer a few times, like in the song titled Help Me from ‘Aag Se Khelenge’.
