7 Bollywood Exes Who Worked Together Post Their Break Up!

1. Ranbir Kapoor – Deepika Padukone

Bollywood’s favourite on-screen couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, parted ways in 2009 after dating for around 2 years. However, after a messy split, the two (and their current partners) have been seen on-screen delivering wonderful performances.

Deepika and Ranbir starred opposite each other in Ayan Mukherjee’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) which turned out to be an audience favourite. They next collaborated for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha (2015).

2. Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif dated for a brief while before the exceptionally good looking actors split in 2016.

As per a KoiMoi report, Ranbir and Katrina signed Anurag Basu’s film Jagga Jassos when they were still dating but the two parted ways before wrapping up the movie. The film also suffered multiple delays while shooting as the exes weren’t comfortable with each other and were still not on talking terms. We also hear that post their breakup, the two of them have constantly avoided each other.

3. Amitabh Bachchan – Rekha

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha have been Bollywood’s constant hot topic ever since news of their alleged relationship painted the town red. While this affair was being publicly discussed, Amitabh Bachchan was already married to his wife Jaya Bhaduri.

Big B and Rekha’s affair made headlines when the two were working on the sets of Do Anjaane (1976). Apparently, Bachchan lost his cool when a co-star misbehaved with Rekha on the sets Ganga Ki Saugandh (1978) which caused a messier ruckus. 4. Shahid Kapoor – Priyanka Chopra

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra met each other while they were shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey (2009) and began dating then. However, their relationship did not last long and the couple split in 2011.

However, Shahid and Priyanka, who stayed friends even after their breakup, featured opposite each other in Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani (2012). 

5. Akshay Kumar – Shilpa Shetty

Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty’s long romance left fans wondering if the couple would ever tie the knot. However, when Shilpa suddenly came out to her fans as single, the news left a string of shock. Apparently, Akshay was involved in an affair with Twinkle Khanna (present wife) while he was courting Shetty which eventually led to their breakup.

While Shilpa and Akshay were struggling with their own problems, they were simultaneously shooting for the movie Dhadkan (2000) along with Suniel Shetty. Ironically, they played each other’s love interest in the film.

6. Shahid Kapoor – Kareena Kapoor Khan

For all Bebo fans, only you know the heart eyes we had for this pair. However, Kareena and Shahid had their breakup happen while shooting for one of Bollywood’s most memorable film, Jab We Met in 2006.

However, many years after their break-up, both of them are now happily married to their respective partners. In 2016, the two decided to come together for Udta Punjab.

7. Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan left Bollywood and fans speechless when news of their reported courtship came flooding in. However, not long after that, Katrina was spotted with Ranbir which led us into believing that her romance with Salman is unfortunately not permanent.
