‘Brahmastra 2’ To Introduce This NEW CHARACTER… ??? Deets Inside!

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt being one of B-Town’s fav couples; fans can’t wait for their movie ‘Brahmastra’ to finally come out.

The fantasy-adventure franchise is reportedly being made as a trilogy, and even before the 1st instalment is wrapped up, buzz has started about part 2!

Brahmastra movie universe to expand

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the 1st part of this universe revolves around the quest for the world’s most powerful weapon – Brahmastra. It will feature Ranbir Kapoor as the lead ‘Shiva’ along with his companion ‘Isha’ (Alia Bhatt). Nagarjuna is playing an ‘archaeologist’ while Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo as a ‘scientist’ to help Shiva on his journey.

RK’s character to have fire power

As per a Pinkvilla report, Brahmastra is nearing the end of its shooting schedule and will mostly wrap up by February month-end. Ayan has reportedly already started working on the script of ‘Brahmastra Part 2’ and will be expanding the universe with a new character – DEV.

2nd part to revolve around new character – DEV

“Brahmastra is the journey of Shiva, while part two will be about another character, Dev, who is also blessed with unique superpowers. The makers are looking to cast an actor from the top bracket for the sequel as well, in-fact, they have already started conversations with some A-List superstars,” a source told Pinkvilla.

Ranbir and Alia’s roles will also be carried forward into the sequel but it will mostly revolve around ‘Dev’. All the main characters will come together for an epic showdown in the final part – much like Avengers, isn’t it?

“If Ayan succeeds, there also lies a possibility of making standalone films showcasing the back story of several fascinating characters, who have a relatively smaller role in the already planned trilogy. But it all depends on the audience reception,” the source added further.

Brahmastra might release at the end of this year. Fingers crossed!
