Happy Birthday Sanya Malhotra….the Dangal actress turns 29 years old today.
From Pataakha to Ludo, Sanya has wowed audiences with her stellar performances. Here are some of her upcoming movies in 2021:
1) Pagglait

On the occasion of her birthday, Netflix released the teaser of Sanya Malhotra’s upcoming quirky comedy ‘Pagglait’. The movie revolves around a young widow who’s just lost her husband but cannot feel any sadness or cry about it.
Directed and written by Umesh Bist, it also stars Sayani Gupta, Shrutii Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Sheeba Chaddha, Meghna Malik and Rajesh Tailang.
Pagglait will be out on Netflix on March 26, 2021.
2) Love Hostel
Sanya will also be starring in the thriller ‘Love Hostel’, along with Vikrant Massey and Bobby Deol. The movie will be revolving around a ‘couple on the run’.
“Set against the pulsating backdrop of rustic North India, Love Hostel traces the volatile journey of a spirited young couple, being hunted by a ruthless mercenary. The star-crossed lovers take on the entire world and then more in search of their fairytale ending. This is a survival tale in the game of power, money and principles, with mayhem and bloodshed,” – read Love Hostel’s synopsis.
The filming for the movie has just begun. Directed by Shanker Raman, Love Hostel is being produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Drishyam Films.
3) Meenakshi Sundareshwar
After Shakuntala Devi and Ludo, Sanya Malhotra has another OTT offering – a Netflix movie titled ‘Meenakshi Sundareshwar’, opposite Abhimanyu Dassani.
Set in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, this upcoming romantic comedy will explore a young couple’s struggle with long distance and marriage.
Meenakshi Sundareshwar is directed by Vivek Soni and produced by Dharmatic Entertainment. The release date is yet to be announced.
