1. Thugs of Hindostan
Thugs of Hindostan is a 2018 adventure drama that stars Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. Before the movie was on floors, Alia was offered the role of Zarifa (played by Fatima now) but she ended up rejecting it.
2. Raabta
Raabta is a 2017 romance starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon in the leads. Before Kriti, Alia was offered to play the role of Saira but she couldn’t take up the offer as her schedule’s dates were clashing.
3. Golmaal Again
The 2017 comedy hit, Golmaal Again, features Parineeti Chopra, Tabu, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Khemu, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade. While Parineeti plays the role of the ghost, Alia was the actress who was initially offered that role.
4. Neerja
Neerja was released in the year 2016 and it is based on a real life incident. The film stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead role as Neerja, brave flight attendant who risks her life as she tries saving others. Alia was initially offered the role of Neerja but she didn’t accept the role as per a report.
5. Sahoo
Sahoo is a 2019 action film that features Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. Though it is Shraddha who plays the lead now, Alia was initially sought out to play the lead. However, as the title of the article suggests, she rejected the film.
