It’s been one year since our fav Irrfan Khan, a true Bollywood gem, left us for a heavenly abode.
The actor died on April 29 last year after a two-year battle with a neuroendocrine tumor.

1. Dabangg
Arbaaz Khan once revealed to Mumbai Mirror, not Salman Khan, but Irrfan Khan & Randeep Hooda were the first choices for Dabangg. Director Abhinav Kashyap supposedly wanted to cast either Irrfan or Randeep for the role of Chulbul Pandey. But things didn’t work out and the script eventually fell into Salman Khan’s lap.
2. Badhaai Ho
Yes, Irrfan Khan was the first choice of Gajraj Rao’s role in Badhaai Ho. According to an HT report, director Amit Sharma had first approached Irrfan Khan & Tabu to play the role of an elderly couple, who are expecting a baby in the movie. However, the duo felt they would not look convincing for the role
3. Sardar Udham Singh
While talking to mid-day, director Shoojit Sircar revealed that Irrfan Khan was the first choice for the biopic of Sardar Udham Singh. But, keeping in mind his ill health, Irrfan had asked the team to move ahead with a different actor.
