1. Arjun Kapoor
Recently, Arjun Kapoor got himself a new tattoo on his left wrist. It’s the letter ‘A’ along with the ‘spades’ symbol that signifies the Ace of Spades. He dedicated this tattoo to his sister Anshula and called her “the ace up my sleeve.”
The actor already has two other tattoos– ‘maa’ inked on his right wrist, dedicated to his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor, and the Latin phrase ‘Per Ardua Ad Astra’ on his arm, which means ‘from adversity to the stars’.
2. Priyanka Chopra Jonas
Besides PC’s infamous ‘Daddy’s lil girl’ tattoo, in memories of her late father Dr. Ashok Chopra, she got her inked again. This time it’s of three paws and dedicated it to her three dogs- Diana, Gino, and Panda.
3. Nushrratt Bharuccha
Not many people know that ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has an incomplete tattoo of a phoenix bird with flowers on its wings. She had got this tattoo impulsively back in 2018 when she was filming SKTKS in Georgia. Why is the tattoo unfinished? Well, it’s because she couldn’t bear the pain.
4. Akshay Kumar
Did you know Akshay Kumar got his first tattoo done in 2007 during his movie shoot in Australia? The tattoo read the name of his son ‘Aarav’. The actor has two more tattoos on his body, one when his daughter Nitara was 6 months old, he had tattooed the name Nitara on his right shoulder, while he tattooed his wife’s name Tina on his left shoulder.
5. Sushmita Sen
Former beauty queen- Sushmita Sen’s tattoo is a Latin saying that reads ‘Aut Viam inveniam aut faciam’ which means, ‘I shall either find a way or make my own’. It is said that the actress currently has 7 tattoos.
6. Deepika Padukone
While Deepika’s RK tattoo has always been the talk-of-town, not many people know that DP has another tattoo, which resembles an anklet, on her left ankle.
It’s a delicate vine circling around her left ankle, which ends atop her foot with her own initials, ‘DP’.
7. Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor, as we all know, started dating on the sets of their movie ‘Tashan’ (2008). To honour his then-girlfriend and now wife Bebo during the initial phase of their dating, Saif had inked ‘Kareena’ on his forearm in Hindi, which remained in the headlines for days.
Kareena once revealed in an interview that whenever Taimur asks his father what the tattoo means, Saif responds saying, “This is your amma’s name.” Aww… isn’t that cute?
8. Sonakshi Sinha
Another actress to get a tattoo on her left ankle is Sonakshi Sinha. She got herself inked back in 2016, to remember her stay in Budapest, when she was there, shooting for ‘Force 2’. Reportedly, Sonakshi was inspired to get the tattoo, which looks similar to a chandelier, while doodling on her foot.
Sinha also has a tiny star tattooed on her collarbone.
9. Hrithik Roshan
In 2009, Hrithik Roshan got his then-wife Sussanne Khan’s name tattooed on his left wrist as a birthday surprise. The duo also has matching Star of David tattoos on the side of their right wrists. But, after being married for almost 14 years, Hrithik Roshan & Sussanne Khan parted ways in 2014. However, Hrithik hasn’t supposedly altered his tattoo since the divorce, while Sussanne has added the quote- “Follow your sunshine”, alongside her star tattoo.
10. Dia Mirza
In June 2019, actress-producer-social activist Dia Mirza got her first tattoo that spells out the word ‘aazad’ in Devnagari script, which symbolizes that we all are born free.
