The Kapoor khandaan has always been one of the most popular families in the history of Hindi cinema.
Now, legendary actor Shashi Kapoor’s grandson Zahan Kapoor is all set to make his Bollywood debut.
Director Hansal Mehta is launching Zahan, along with Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya, in his upcoming thriller flick. This yet-to-be-titled movie is being produced by Anubhav Sinha, Bhushan Kumar, and Sahil Saigal.
Announcing the same on Monday, the ‘Chhalaang’ director wrote, ”Proud to present Zahan Kapoor and Aditya Rawal in my new film produced by @anubhavsinhaa @tseriesfilms #SahilSaigal. Shooting in progress.”
Who Is Zahan Prithviraj Kapoor?
Zahan is the son of Kunal Kapoor (eldest son of late Shashi Kapoor) & Sheena Sippy (filmmaker Ramesh Sippy’s daughter). His parents are now separated. Zahan also has a sister, Shaira Laura Kapoor, with whom he often shares pictures on his Instagram handle.
A Theatre Artist
Not many people know that Zahan is already into dramatics. A couple of months ago, he forayed into Hindi theatre with Makarand Deshpande’s play ‘Pitaji Please’, co-starring Swanand Kirkire, at the Prithvi Theatre.
Prithvi Theatre was built by Zahan’s grandparents– Shashi Kapoor & his wife Jennifer Kapoor, in the memory of his great grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor.
A Polo Player?
Well, this Kapoor sibling is a skilled polo player. In 2018, he played for the team- Benaz Corporation and had won the ARC Challenge Cup.
