Ratings: 3/5

Storyline

Senior Inspector Nikhil Sood (Manoj Bajpayee), who works in the police control room, gets a peculiar call one night. The distressing voices come from a woman (Neena Gupta) who can’t seem to keep her calm at the start but at the same time shifts her demeanor to that of an eerily spooky behaviour. At the same time, this doesn’t seem to be the only problem Inspector Nikil is facing at the moment.

Nikhil’s wife, Prerna (Sakshi Tanwar) and son Dhruv, have gotten themselves in quite a tangle too. Prerna calls Nikhil in panic complaining about their son being in trouble. However, trouble seems to be a little too close to home and Nikhil has to now find a way to save his family.

What do we think?

Manoj Bajpayee has given the audience and fans yet another stellar performance to look forward to. While the whole cast is exceptionally talented and has proven to be quite the success, we have to applaud an actor in particular who has aced her role.

Neena Gupta has exceeded all our expectations proving just how versatile she can be. Her character has the perfect amount of psychotism to give you that breathtaking moment, the perfect thriller package. Sakshi Tanwar is an excellent actress as we already know. Just as Neena Gupta, perhaps a little less intense but perfectly accurate nonetheless, she’s done an immaculate job.

The only improvement this film could have is the extremely fast pace of the movie. Being a thriller, the film lacks the time frame for the audience to grasp all the situations. Hence, it takes a while for the thrill to sink in.

Hit or Miss

We think this film is definitely a HIT and deserves some major appreciation from all you movie buffs.
