Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar is allegedly making a Netflix series based on the popular ‘Archie Comics’.
As per reports, Zoya is apparently looking for fresh faces to cast in the Hindi adaptation.
Recently, reports started doing rounds that the filmmaker will launch Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda for the characters of Betty, Veronica, and Archie respectively.
While there has been no official confirmation yet, Khushi’s father-producer Boney Kapoor has finally reacted to reports of Khushi’s debut in Zoya’s upcoming series.
While talking to a daily, Boney Kapoor claimed that he knows nothing about such a project. “I don’t know anything about this. I don’t know what you are talking about,” the 65-year-old stated.
Earlier this year, Boney Kapoor had confirmed that Khushi will soon be making her Bollywood debut. However, he also stated that he won’t be launching her himself.
Meanwhile, Netflix has already adapted ‘Archie Comics’ into the teenage drama series– ‘Riverdale’.
