Fans are excited to see Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reunite with Mani Ratnam (her Guru and Raavan director).
She’ll be seen in the Tamil historical drama film Ponniyin Selvan – based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s popular novel of the same name.
Set against the backdrop of Chola Dynasty, Ponniyin Selvan is going to be a two-part epic film. The gorgeous diva Aish is allegedly going to be seen in a dual role – as both Princess Nandini and Nandini’s mother Mandakini Devi.
As per the latest update that’s going viral – Aishwarya’s look from the heavily-guarded sets of Ponniyin Selvan has allegedly been leaked. Captured in a grainy photo – Aish can be seen decked up in a regal saree and heavy jewellery!

The star cast also includes Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi among others. Oscar-winner AR Rahman is behind the music composition for the project.
The 1st part will be opening in cinemas in 2022.
