Karan Johar Pens A Cryptic Note On Death & Slander!

Karan Johar‘s recent film Shershaah has already become a fan favourite and now, the director gave us a little teaser of his upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Karan is currently hosting the OTT version of the reality show Bigg Boss.

Recently, KJo took to Instagram and penned quite a cryptic note on death and the slander that follows it. The director openly spoke about how the death of a person brings out a cycle of regret and criticism between the living.

Karan writes, “Koi guzar gaya… phir aapne afsos wala button daba diya… wahi ‘life is too short’ wali baat hazarvi baar dohrane lage… Gile shikve mitaane ka zikr bhi hua… (When someone dies, we hit the regret button, and repeat the same old talks about ‘life is too short’, there is also a mention of clearing the person of blames and complaints).”

“Phir achanak aapne apne bare mein b**ching suni aur aapne bhi wahi kiya! B**ching! Wah! Janab log guzar jaate hai…. roz… par hum kaunsa zinda hai? (Then suddenly, you hear people speaking ill about you, and what do you do? Speak ill. You also indulge in slander! B**ching, wow, sir, people die everyday but are we even alive?),” he concludes.

Naturally, the director did not openly mention who this post was directed to or if it was meant for someone at all. Last year, at the time of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Karan Johar was heavily targetted by netizens for apparently being nepotistic.
