Bebo has been a part of many loved Bollywood films but here are 6 others where she was the 1st choice!

1. Devdas (2002)

Devdas is a part of the Bollywood iconic film range and the timeless masterpiece is still appreciated to date. Kareena Kapoor Khan was initially offered this Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial and also gave a screen test for the role (not identified) as per a report. However, apparently, Bhansali had replaced her without her knowledge which hurt her feelings. Besides this mini misunderstanding, all is well between the director and the actress.

2. No One Killed Jessica (2011)

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, this film was one of Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji’s finest works. Before Myra Karn, Kareena was approached to play the character Jessica Lall. Unfortunately, Kareena confessed to not being able to connect with the character because of which she ended up rejecting the role.

3. Dostana (2008)

Dostana is one of the 00′ decade blockbusters and is soon to get a sequel! While not much is mentioned about why Bebo rejected the character Neha Melwani, it is Priyanka Chopra who got the part right after.

4. LoveStory 2050 (2008)

Director Harry Baweja, who launched his son Harman Baweja in this film, initially approached Kareena for the female lead. However, a report tells us that the actress wasn’t too sure of portraying the character and hence, rejected it.

5. Page 3 (2005)

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, Kareena was the first choice to play Madhvi Sharma but she ended up rejecting it. The role then went to Konkona Sen.

6. Bride & Prejudice (2004)

Gurinder Chadha, the director of Bride & Prejudice, had approached Kareena to play Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s sister in the film. However, after understanding that this was not the lead role, Kapoor-Khan rejected the offer.
