1. Patralekhaa Paul

After dating for almost 11 years, ‘CityLights’ duo Patralekhaa Paul and Rajkummar Rao got married on November 15, 2021, in Chandigarh. For the wedding, Patralekhaa had draped herself in a red tulle embroidered Buti sari. Well, you can’t miss her embroidered veil, which was inscribed with a Bengali verse. It reads, “Aamar poran bhora bhalobasha aami tomaye shomorpon korilam” (I surrender my love-filled heart to you).

For the reception, the actress had donned an off-white silk saree, designed by Sabyaachi.

2. Priyanka Chopra

Yes, Sabyasachi Mukherjee was the man behind Priyanka Chopra’s stunning all-red wedding lehenga. The ‘Barfi’ actress tied the knot with American pop star Nick Jonas on 1st December 2018, at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace. Reportedly, it took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata and 3,720 hours to custom create PC’s gorgeous ensemble, which apparently cost a whopping amount of Rs 18 LAKHS!

3. Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone got married to Ranveer Singh on November 14-15, 2018, in Lake Como, Italy. It was a 2-day wedding, which included both Konkani and Sindhi ceremonies. For the Sindhi wedding (November 15), DP had worn a heavily embroidered red lehenga with a matching dupatta. Her dupatta had Hindu Mantra ‘Sada Saubhagyawati Bhava’ embroidered over it. 

4. Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma looked absolutely gorgeous in the pale blush-pink floral lehenga, designed by Sabyasachi, for her fairytale wedding with Virat Kohli on December 11, 2017 in Tuscany. According to reports, it took 32 days and 67 karigars to finish her wedding outfit.

5. Bipasha Basu

Bipasha Basu had turned into a traditional Bengali bride for her Bengali-style wedding with actor Karan Singh Grover on April 30, 2016. For the D-day, Bipasha had opted for a red Sabyasachi lehenga and looked like the happiest bride ever.

6. Soha Ali Khan

Yes, Soha Ali Khan, too, opted for a Sabyasachi outfit for her royal wedding with Kunal Kemmu on January 25, 2015. Soha looked stunning in the kesariya orange and ivory-coloured gorgeous lehenga.
