Lata Mangeshkar Ji – the Nightingale of India – had passed away yesterday at the age of 92 after suffering a multi-organ failure last night.
The whole country is in a state of mourning and The Centre announced a two-day national mourning where the flag will fly at half-mast as a mark of respect.
