1- Dia Mirza

As per reports, Dia is an environmental activist and she brought home an eco-friendly idol and shared the importance of minimalism and sustainability. She took to her gram and wrote, “In a way, Visarjan reflects nature’s life cycle, while it should be one of the most eco-friendly events in India, it has become something else altogether. This Ganpati, take a moment to understand the meaning of a birth cycle, go minimal, natural, and sustainable. Hope you all have joyous and safe festivities.”

2- Shraddha Kapoor

The actress welcomes an eco-friendly Ganpati idol and also urges her fans to immerse the idols at home in buckets to avoid polluting the beaches and sea. 

3- Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan also takes care of the environment while enjoying the Ganpati festival and promotes the importance of celebrating the festival with an eco-friendly idol.

4- Anushka Sharma

Anushka Sharma has always been vocal about protecting the environment. While talking about Ganesh Chaturthi, Anushka said, “This is our environment and we have to look after it so that our future generations are benefitted. So we want people to celebrate the festival but keep the environment factor in mind as well.”

Even superstar Shilpa Shetty promotes an eco-friendly Ganpati festival. Not only is her idol eco-friendly but also her family immerses the idol of Lord Ganesha in a water-filled tub at home itself.
