For the unversed, recently reports were going viral that Sara Ali Khan had auditioned for Animal. And that Sandeep Reddy Vanga wasn’t convinced that Sara would be able to pull off the bold scene, and therefore the role went to Tripti Dimri.

But the insider sources have firmly shut down the rumour and clarified that Sara Ali Khan never auditioned for this Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film.

Sara Ali Khan is one of the most prominent Bollywood actresses of this generation. She made headlines with her debut in ‘Kedarnath‘ and with her recent role in the hit film ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke‘. Sara is known for her desi girl avatar and relatability amongst fans and audiences.  

Sara Ali Khan is currently basking in the success of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, and has Murder Mubarak opposite Vijay Varma and Metro in Dino with Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Tripti Dimri Going Viral For Animal

Tripti Dimri is going viral for her brief yet impactful role in this Ranbir Kapoor film. Along with the Bhabhi 2 memes flooding the Internet currently, Dimri is also being hailed as the new ‘National Crush’. The gorgeous actress has previously worked in acclaimed, character-oriented films like Bulbbul and Qala. 

OTT Release

It has crossed a whopping 600+crores worldwide at the box office and is a raging success. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the actioner is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Pranay Reddy Vanga under T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri in important roles.

As per reports, it will arrive on the OTT platform 45 to 60 days after its theatrical release. It is being rumoured that Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for this Sandeep Reddy Vanga film. The makers might possibly lock in the Sankranti week, January 14th or 15th for Animal’s Netflix release.
