The Role That Changed My Life – Vijay Varma On How Gully Boy Movie Success Changed His Career

Vijay Varma is undoubtedly the heart-stealer actor of Indian Cinema. With every performance given by him, the actor has set the bar high like in the movie Gully Boy.

One of his high-rated performances is of Moeen Arif in Zoya Akhtar directed ‘Gully Boy‘.

The musical drama starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt has completed five years of its release and the performance of Vijay stood distinctive in the film.

Following the release and success of the film, Vijay Varma was asked in an interview about the impact Gully Boy’s success had on his career, and responding to the same, Vijay said, “That was Gully Boy because that is the film after which people considered me. I won’t say they took me seriously but it opened many doors for me.”

It can’t be denied that Vijay Varma breathed life into the character of Moeen Arif in Gully Boy and his character even received love and praise from every corner.

The chameleon actor stunned the nation with his performance as Azad in Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Dahaad, released last year. Following the show’s success, he gave distinctive performances in shows like Kaalkoot, Lust Stories 2, and Jaane Jaan.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vijay Varma will be seen in Murder Mubarak and Ul Jalool Ishq.
