According to reports, Pulkit was working on a daily soap when he first met Shweta. She was reportedly working as a journalist back then.

After being together for almost 9 years, Pulkit & Shweta got married in 2014 in an intimate ceremony in Goa. The couple had supposedly decided to part ways 11-months after their Punjabi wedding.

Salman Khan considers Shweta as his rakhi sister and as per reports, she ties rakhi to him every year. For the unversed, Salman himself did Shweta’s kanyadan in Goa.

Rumour has it, Pulkit was shooting for Sanam Re at that time, and his alleged closeness to his co-star Yami Gautam was the reason behind Pulkit & Shweta’s shocking split.

During an interview with Mid-Day, Shweta had said –

“Yami was the smoke that led to whatever happened between Pulkit and me. She is a home-breaker.”

In the interview, Shweta also revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage in 2015.

Meanwhile, Yami Gautam is now happily married to filmmaker Aditya Dhar. The couple is all set to welcome their first child soon.

On the other hand, as per reports, Shweta is currently a fitness instructor. She underwent a massive fitness transformation.
