However, while Imran Khan nipped the rumours in the bud and DENIED the news of Happy Patel being his comeback film. The actor told TOI –
“It’s not true. Vir Das is directing and starring in Happy Patel. I’m not in the film. They have just used a photograph of me as part of an in-film joke.”
With reports of his comeback resurfacing every now and then, the actor is amazed with the constant speculation – “I have never stopped being amazed at how these stories get blown out of context.”

Imran Khan Was Last Seen In Katti Batti
Imran Khan was last seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in the 2015 film Katti Batti. He made his debut as a lead actor in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
For the unversed, Imran Khan is the nephew of actor Aamir Khan. He had played the younger version of Aamir in his iconic romantic film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. On the personal front, Imran Khan has separated from ex-wife Avantika Malik. Khan is now dating Lekha Washington.
“The speculation that I’m romantically involved with Lekha Washington is true. I’m divorced and have been separated since February 2019,” Imran confirmed.
