krrish 4 has run into some financial hurdles allegedly

hrithik roshan is not only acting in it but making his directorial debut

as the director, he wanted a 500-crore budget 

to ensure top-notch VFX, international-standard action sequences and scale

however, producer aditya chopra wanted to cap the budget at 350 crore

hence, krrish 4 is on a backburner currently

Hrithik is said to be exploring other studio options & even tweaking the script to tone it down

till then, the superhero film is stalled
