ameesha patel opened up on being a top student in school, earning a gold medal in Economics, and originally studying Bio-genetics

Ameesha excelled academically and had the privilege of attending Tufts University in Boston, USA, where she initially pursued bio-genetic engineering

after two years, she switched her major to Economics. She also reflects on her experiences growing up as a South Bombay girl before stepping into the world of films

I belonged to a financially-sound family and had a spectacular education, have always been the top student. From being Head Girl of Cathedral to being a gold medalist in economics at Tufts University in Boston

Been a part of elite clubs like the CCI, the Bombay Gymkhana, and the Willingdon Club. I’ve been involved in sports like squash and badminton. Originally, I wanted to do bio-genetics." she continued

she added,"Because I was this South Bombay girl working in cinema, people thought I had some chip on my shoulder. But honestly, working on set was just a job for me

Branded clothes, shoes, and bags weren’t something foreign to me. I used to carry Louis Vuitton and Moschino bags as my school backpack." she concluded
