Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda in talks to join Bollywood?

The death of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has sparked multiple debates over nepotism amidst various celebrities belonging to this industry.

Now, the latest hot topic in town is Agastya Nanda, who is the grandson of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. Word has it that Agastya also plans on following in his grandfather’s and uncle Abhishek Bachchan’s footsteps into B-Town.

Reportedly, the handsome chap has already been offered roles and he also looks forward to making his big on-screen debut when the time is right. Although there isn’t any confirmation of the news, reports say that filmmaker Karan Johar apparently said that he was happy to launch this Bachchan.

On the sixth season of Bollywood most famous talk show Koffee with Karan, Agastya’s mother, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda (daughter of Amitabh Bachchan) was seen on the show with Abhishek Bachchan where the pair discussed the downfall of being part of such a growing industry.

Shweta Bachchan-Nanda expressed her views on why she did not want her kids to join Bollywood. She says, “I also know the heartbreaks. I see their faces when things don’t work out, I’m there on a human level. I’m on Instagram, I follow my brother. I see the hate he gets. I see the kind of trolling he gets. You think he’s had it so easy since he’s Amitabh Bachchan’s son.
I don’t want yet another member of my family to be in this business for a selfish reason.”
