Kangana Ranaut is to arrive in Mumbai today. She was granted Y+Plus Security for her arrival.
In the meanwhile before her arrival, BMC officials started demolishing alleged ‘illegal structures’ in her Office in Pali Hill! They had given her 24-hour notice which expired today.
Kangana reacted to this development by calling it ‘Pakistan…#death of democracy.”
The actress also said – “I am never wrong and my enemies prove again and again this is why my Mumbai is POK now.”
She tweeted calling Mumbai police and BMC officials as “Babur & his army.“
Responding to BMC’s notice, Kangana Ranaut’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui had said – “No work being carried out by Kangana Ranaut in her premises as falsely understood by you, so the notice issued by you as “Stop Work Notice” is absolutely bad-in-law & appears to have been issued only to intimidate her by misusing your dominant position.”
However, in the fresh notice, the BMC has said that the allegations in reply (by Kangana Ranaut’s lawyer) are baseless. “After receipt of the notice, you continued the work…So, the notice structure as mentioned in the notice is liable for forthwith demolition at your risk, cost & consequences,” Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai said.
Kangana also tweeted: “There is no illegal construction in my house, also government has banned any demolitions in Covid till September 30, Bullywood watch now this is what Fascism looks like.”
