Ever since the #MeToo movement touched Bollywood, director Sajid Khan has been in the news.
Here are the 8 times different women from the industry accused Khan of sexual misconduct.
1. Sherlyn Chopra
Former actress Sherlyn Chopra had accused Sajid Khan of inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct. As per an HT report, the incident is said to have taken place in 2005.
“When I had met him in April 2005, a few days after my father’s demise, he had taken his penis out of his pants and had asked me to feel it. I remember having told him that I know how a penis feels like & that the purpose of my meeting with him was not to feel or rate his penis,” Chopra stated.
2. Saloni Chopra
Saloni Chopra had taken to Twitter in 2018 to share her horrifying experience working for Sajid Khan. As per her narration, the director would ask her to ‘spread her legs’ while she sat and make her touch him inappropriately.
3. Rachel White
After Saloni Chopra’s confession, Rachel too replied to her tweet in a long thread describing her sexual misconduct encounter.
4. Karishma Upadhyay
Journalist Karishma Upadhyay too spoke of being sexually harassed by Khan and her story too is as gruesome as can be. She said, “Through the interview he talked about how large his p**** is and how he knew how to satisfy a woman. I ignored his trash talk and got back on track with my interview. He walked out of the room to show me some DVD from his collection. When he returned, his p**** was out. I got up to leave immediately only to find him blocking the way out. And, he forced his tongue down my throat. I pushed him away and ran out.”
5. Dimple Paul
Indian model Dimple Paul had posted an Instagram post revealing shocking details.
She said, “When #MeToo movement started a lot of people spoke about Sajid Khan but I did not dare to because like every other actor who has no God Father and had to earn for family I kept quiet. Now I don’t have my parents with me, I’m earning for myself, I can dare to tell that I have been harassed by Sajid Khan at the age of 17. He spoke dirty to me, he tried to touch me, he even told me to strip in front of him just to get a role in his upcoming Housefull movie.”
6. Aahana Kumara
In an India Today report, Aahana had revealed meeting Sajid in 2017 despite “knowing the fact that he is a shady guy”. She arrived at his house for the meeting and was taken to his room, which was “pretty dark”. When she asked to sit outside, he said that he did not want to disturb his mother, who was sitting there.
Aahana told Sajid to switch on the lights, which he did. “He wanted to chat with me. I told him my mom’s a police officer which I think made him behave. But he still asked me bizarre questions like, ‘Would you have sex with a dog if I gave you Rs 100 crore?'” she revealed, adding that he did not touch her.
7. Mandana Karimi
“I was in talks for Sajid Khan’s Humshakals at the casting stage. My manager and I visited his office. After meeting producer Vashu Bhagnani, I was in a room with Sajid, when he said, ‘Lovely pictures but you need to remove your clothes. If I like what I see, you might get the part,” Mandana had disclosed.
The incident had taken place when the Iranian model had paid Khan’s office a visit to discuss a role in his 2014 film Humshakals.
8. Simran Suri
Simran Suri tweeted saying Sajid Khan had asked her to ‘strip’ for him. “I kept thinking all these years @whitespeaking to talk about this a## @SimplySajidK and what stopped me was that nobody would listen. He did exactly the same with me while he was casting for Himmatwala. Called me to his juju house and asked me to strip.“
