Ayushmann Khurrana is back again with some clutter-breaking content. Trust the dude to always choose some unconventional topic.
The talented actor will now be helming a campus comedy-drama titled ‘Doctor G’, and we hear that his reel life pairing will be quite a fresh one!
Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Doctor G will feature Ayushmann as the only male gynaecologist in the whole department. The story will revolve around how the profession changes him as a person and a man. Kudos to Khurrana for picking up such a topic!
Coming to the leading lady of the film – Mrunal Thakur was initially in the talks with the makers, but since her ‘Pippa’ were clashing, she has bowed out.
According to Peeping Moon, Rakul Preet Singh has been locked in opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She will reportedly play a medical student in this comedy. Doctor G’s cast also includes Shefali Shah as Ayushmann’s boss and Sheeba Chaddha as his mother.
The film is going on floors in April. Meanwhile, Ayushmann has Anubhav Sinha’s spy thriller ‘Anek’ in the pipeline and will next be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ with Vaani Kapoor.
