It’s been already reported that 2019’s hit Malayalam survival thriller Helen is being remade in Bollywood.
And, if reports are to be believed, Janhvi Kapoor is all set to star in the Hindi remake.
As Pinkvilla reported earlier, Sunny Kaushal is most likely to star opposite Janhvi in the remake. The movie is reportedly scheduled to go on floors in June.
Recently, there have been reports doing rounds that actor Manoj Pahwa has joined the Helen movie Hindi remake cast. If this SpotboyE report is to be believed, Manoj will supposedly be seen as Janhvi’s father in the movie.
The story apparently revolves around an ordinary suburban girl who suddenly disappears, leaving her loved ones in a desperate search as she must face the ultimate battle – the one for her life. The remake is apparently being produced by Jahnvi’s father Boney Kapoor, along with Zee Studios.
Directed by Mathukutty Xavier, the Malayalam original featured Anna Ben in the lead.
