This film also stars an ensemble cast of Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Prajakta Koli, and Maniesh Paul.
This Raj Mehta directorial, produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, went on floors last year in November in Chandigarh. But soon in December, the Chandigarh schedule faced a roadblock as Varun, Neetu, and director Raj had tested positive for Covid-19.
While almost 60% of the shoot is still left, this Varun Dhawan-Kiara Advani starrer hit another blockade. According to the latest Bollywood Hungama report, the makers have reportedly called off the second schedule in Mumbai due to the Janta curfew in Maharashtra.
Talking to a tabloid Raj Mehta revealed that the second schedule was supposed to be shot in April. Keeping the current Covid-19 situation in mind, the team has no option but to delay the Mumbai schedule and seek a fresh set of combination dates from the actors.
The director also said that they had shot the first schedule right after the first wave of pandemic and it was difficult as they had cases on the set.
