After K.K Singh’s COMPLAINT, ‘Shashank’ Director Sanoj Misra Says Movie Is NOT Based On SSR!

Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh recently sought to restrain movies based on his son’s life at the Delhi High Court.

K.K Singh had claimed that filmmakers were trying to encash this opportunity for ulterior motives.

Some of the films named by K.K Singh were ‘Nyay: The Justice’, ‘Suicide or Murder: A star was lost’ and ‘Shashank’. He also said that no one had obtained his permission or consent.

Now Sanoj Misra, the director of ‘Shashank’ (an upcoming film on the industry’s insider VS outsider debate) denies all claims that the film is based on SSR’s life.

As per a report, Sanoj Misra submitted an affidavit in response to the suit filed by K.K Singh. “The film of defendant no. 7 (Mishra) ‘Shashank’ is totally based on portraying the struggle of outsiders in Bollywood. The theme and story is based on four young boys. Defendant no. 7 is also a great example of struggle as an outsider of Mumbai in Bollywood,” the affidavit read.

Pointing out differences in the names, Misra also mentions that there is a lot of difference in the name of the movie Shashank and Sushant Singh Rajput.
