Poor Kartik Aaryan simply cannot seem to catch a break after Dostana 2 fallout with Karan Johar.
The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor has been hitting the headlines of late – either having exited or dropped from some project or the other.
It was reported that he had walked out of ‘Goodbye Freddie’ backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies production and even returned the 2 crore signing amount.
Another rumour went rife recently; that he has been replaced in Aanand L Rai’s gangster film by AYUSHMANN Khurrana. Before controversy erupts, however, the spokesperson for Aanand’s Colour Yellow production has DENIED these reports.
As per Indian Express, the team clarified that Kartik and Ayushmann were both approached for DIFFERENT projects – “These are baseless rumours. We’ve met Kartik for a different film and we are still talking. We have taken another film altogether to Ayushmann and this is a complete mix-up.”
