After reports of quitting, it has finally been confirmed that Kartik Aaryan will indeed be starring in ‘Freddy’.
The romantic thriller film will be directed by Shashanka Ghosh (of Veere Di Wedding fame) and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Jay Shewakramani.
Buzz has already started as to who the leading lady will be. Earlier reports said Katrina Kaif was to star in ‘Freddy’ opposite Kartik.
However, the latest TOI article seems to suggest that Jawaani Jaaneman star Alaya F will be joining Freddy’s cast! A source also told the daily that Alaya has a meaty role. Let’s wait and see if this news is officially confirmed.
