Taapsee Pannu is currently one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood with several movies lined up for release.
The actress had garnered a lot of praise for her portrayal in Netflix’s mystery thriller film- ‘Haseen Dillruba’.
Earlier, it was reported that the makers of Taapsee’s upcoming movie- ‘Rashmi Rocket’– have opted for a direct-to-digital release.
Now, if this media report is to be believed, the sports drama has reportedly been sold to Zee5 at a whopping amount of Rs 58 CRORES! Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film is said to be aiming for a Dussehra release.
“This is a recent development and all the parties involved are very happy with the deal. For now, Zee 5 is aiming for a Dussehra release of the film,” an insider informed the portal.
However, Zee5 is yet to comment on this matter.
Starring Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pryanshu Painyuli in pivotal roles, the story of the Taapsee Pannu starrer revolves around a country girl who dreams of winning an International Athlete Contest.
Taapsee had shot for ‘Rashmi Rocket’ amidst pandemic and wrapped up the film in January this year.
