From Dhoom to Dostana…. Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham always give us BROMANCE goals whenever they co-star together.
Fans were buzzed when news trickled in that Abhishek-John would be reuniting for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam action thriller Ayyappanum Koshiyum.
But as per latest reports, Abhishek has allegedly walked out of the film! The project, helmed by Jagan Shakti, was at the pre-production stage and ready to roll from November. However, with Abhishek’s exit (allegedly due to date issues with Breathe Season 3) the project will take off next year in January.
Meanwhile, speculation is rife about Junior Bachchan’s replacement, and as per Peeping Moon’s latest update, Arjun Kapoor has been roped in as the parallel lead opposite John! Arjun and John are already locking horns in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns as well.
What do you think of this development? Talking about the original movie, the synopsis reads – “Police officer Ayyappan is an upright man who always strives to do the right thing. Things change when a retired army havildar, Koshy, settles in his village and the two egos clash.”
John also has Pathan and Satyamev Jayate 2 release to look forward to. Arjun, on the other hand, is all set for Bhoot Police release (September 17 on Disney+ Hotstar), Kuttey and Ek Villain Returns with John.
