Salman Khan, the heartbeat of Bollywood, recently completed 33 successful years in the industry.

The actor is currently busy shooting for his upcoming blockbuster Tiger 3 in Russia but do you know what was Salman’s first salary?

Salman Khan made his Bollywood debut in 1988 with the movie ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi‘. The movie also starred Rekha, Farooq Sheikh, and Bindu in important roles and Salman played the role of Farooq’s brother.

As per reports, Salman Khan revealed that for playing the role of Farooq’s brother in ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’ Salman was paid Rs.11,000 as salary. It was also reported that Salman Khan used to wear his own clothes for the shooting of his debut movie.

In 1989, Salman signed Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Maine Pyar Kiya‘ and never looked back.
