Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya is all set to explore the ‘friendship’ territory in movies with his upcoming directorial- ‘Uunchai’.
The movie reportedly revolves around the story of 4 friends, who are aged above 60, played by Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher, and Danny Denzongpa.
The slice-of-life film also features Neena Gupta and Parineeti Chopra in pivotal roles. The movie has already gone on floors from October 4 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
If this media report is to be believed, Parineeti reportedly plays the role of a tourist guide of Nepal in this film.
“Parineeti will be helping and accompanying the quartet of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Danny Denzongpa on their adventurous trip. Her role is very well fleshed out and it’ll be interesting to see her in a different light in this film,” a source revealed to the portal.
Suraj Acharya, who is handling the Nepal schedule, also revealed that the movie will be shot at various exotic locations of Nepal, like- Lukla airport, which is considered to be the most dangerous airport in the world, Namche, Manang, and the peaks that are located at around 26,000 feet above sea level.
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, and Ribhu Dasgupta’s next action-thriller, opposite Harrdy Sandhu.
