OMG! Alia Bhatt & Salman Khan To TEAM UP For THIS Project? Read Inside-

Fans were excited when the news of Alia Bhatt & Salman Khan pairing up for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming directorial ‘Inshallah’ came out.

Unfortunately, the movie got shelved due to unknown reasons even before it could hit the floors.

Salman Khan & Alia Bhatt were supposed to star in ‘Inshallah’

Now, we have some exciting news for all the fans out there. We hear that Alia & Salman are teaming up for an exciting project. According to a Pinkvilla report, Alia is said to be seen as one of the anchors of the docu-series ‘Beyond The Star’, based on Salman’s life.

As the report suggests, the ‘Kalank’ actress is excited to anchor some of the Bollywood biggies in this docu series and has already shot for her portions.

Alia to anchor Salman’s docu-series

A source informed the portal- “The idea is to showcase the world of Salman Khan beyond the superstardom that he is known from. His family members – Salim Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, his industry friends like Sajid Nadiadwala, David Dhawan, Sooraj Barjatya, Anees Bazmee and other work colleagues like Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, among others have already recorded for their respective portions. Karan Johar too is said to be a part of this docu-series.”

“Apart from Alia, there will be multiple other anchors in the show. Beyond The Star: Salman Khan will be the first season of this docu-series and the makers plan to spin it into a franchise going forward. It’s produced by Salman Khan Films with Wizcraft Productions and Applause Entertainment,” the source concluded.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is also expected to feature in this docu-series. Reportedly, ‘Beyond The Star’ is currently in the post-production stage and the makers are planning to release it on an International OTT giant by mid-2022.

The docu-series will apparently chronicle Salman’s journey to super-stardom, personal relationships, equations with co-stars, colleagues, and more.
